Biography
For the past two decades the contribution by Adam to the electronic music scene & community has been significant, important and valued.
Adam has been Co-owning, managing and designing his own venues and spaces for a period of time in the form of warehouses, block party style street stages and festivals, clubs and bars as well as working alongside a huge range of promoters and industry professionals to carve out a special moment in time for the UK creative music and arts scene.
Over the past few years his alias A-Future has come to light, focusing on all aspects of electro from old school Miami bass, Cutting edge breakbeats and Detroit inspired techno playing alongside key heads in the game like Dj Stingray, Radioactive Man and Hessle audio.
A new label – EON records was formed in 2019 with releases from Sepehr, Sync 24, Alex Jann, Jamal Moss and fellow Midlander Jayson Wynters. Around that time Adam also worked at Cafe Artum independent record shop alongside Jayson helping to bring vinyl of all genres from around the globe to Birmingham. From that came the opportunity to curate Trevinos record store at Craig Richard’s Houghton festival, which showcases some of the best independent record sellers from around the UK.
A record collector since the mid 90’s – the range of electronic music is wide and varied, including a particular love for dance music from Detroit, Chicago and the UK rave sound which shaped his ears and mind from a very early age, for as long as Adam has been collecting house music, he has had a love for the breakbeats and broken rhythms.
